About this work

Description

Babies for Burning was a sensationalist purported expose of the abortion industry in the UK by two journalists, Michael Litchfield and Susan Kentish, previously published in the News of the World. Its creative approach to facts and evidence was exposed by the Sunday Times Insights team. There were a number of resulting legal cases settled in and out of court, and a statement in the Houses of Parliament that the authors of the book had lied to a government select committee.
