Thk Committee of Graduates and Undergraduates of the University of Glasgow, to whom was entrusted the disposal of the Fund collected to raise a Memorial to the late Ur Calderwood, have now the satisfaction of informing tlie many subscribers that the two objects aimed at have been attained, and the work in connection therewith completed. lhe Memorial Tablet, which is of white Sicilian marble, was erected in the Church-yard of Fenwick in the Summer of 1899, and the Window, which has three lights, and is of stained and opalescent glass, placed in the Reading Room of the Students' Union, (iilmorehill, in the following Autumn. In sending, out of the surplus funds, this In Memoriam to each Subscril)er, the Committee believe that it will serve as an appropriate and valued memento. The small remaining surplus will be placed in the hands of the Directors of ihe Western Irjfirmary. The Comiiiitlee diisire to record their indebtedness to Mr. John J.
