Includes extensive discussions on Surgeon Captain T. L. Cleave and his ideas on dietary fibre; also included is a photocopy of a letter from Cleave to Trowell and the following items: Typescript entitled: 'T. L. Cleave and the Fibre Story' by K. W. Heaton, written for publication in the "Journal of Royal Naval Medical Science" Vol. 66, 1980 pp. 5-10 Typescript biography of Cleave, written by Kenneth Heaton for inclusion in Munk's Roll, n.d., circa 1983 Publication from The McCarrison Society 'Founders of Modern Nutrition' series: "Cleave: Surgeon Captain T.
