"The Wellcome Foundation Ltd Annual Report and Financial Statement 1983: Employee Communication Management Briefing Notes"

The Introduction states that the "notes are intended for use by managers when they discuss the Company Annual Report for 1983 with employees, and in particular to help them in the use of the video presentation. The booklet and video presentation have been introduced both to inform employees at all levels and to encourage two-way communication between managaers and their work groups. It is therefore important that arrangements are made for work groups to meet together at appropriate times with their line manager to see the video and to discuss this and the booklet which they will already have received."

The video referred to is not present in the file. The booklet (43 pp) is divided into the following sections: "Introduction", "Finance", "Group Research and Development", "Production", "Sales", "Marketing", "Wellcome Biotechnology Limited", "Personnel", and "Employee Report Photographs".

There is also an "Addendum" document (13 pp), which takes the form of a series of questions and answers.
