Notes

Simon Tovey comes from north of Bristol. He has just completed an Art History degree at the University of Leeds and is currently looking for work. Would like to be self-employed and have his own business at some point. Grew up in a prep school his dad was a headmaster at. On the plinth he is going to do a tribute to the artist Magritte and his painting 'the Son of Man' which portrays a man in a bowler hat and smart suit with an apple in front of his face. He is dressed in a similar suit and has a print of a Monet painting he will show.
