About this work
Description
Correspondence is the most abundant form of record in PP/TLC. It was through a wide correspondence that Cleave obtained much information and confirmation to support the arguments of his writings. As well as letters received, there are some copies of Cleave’s letters. Typically, Cleave pinned together related letters and papers; these groupings, internal to files, have been maintained. Files have been arranged chronologically as far as groupings will allow. Correspondence files are arranged as specific correspondence (files gathered and often named by Cleave) and other general correspondence found amongst the papers.
