Letter from David Davies, 1st Baron Davies, to Haldane regarding the potential threat to public health posed by the poisoning of reservoirs by enemy agents or the possibility of damage to reservoirs by explosives. Encloses a copy of memorandum by Lord Davies on the security of the Birmingham Water Works at Elan Valley and Liverpool Water Works at Lake Vyrnwy, and a copy of a letter sent by Lord Davies to several MPs on the same subject. Includes a letter from Haldane to Lord Davies in response to the above.
