Notes

Liam Gifford is from Bideford North Devon, and has travelled especially to London for this project. As a recent graduate in theatre and performing arts he is moving to Bristol in a week's time. He is treating this trip to London as a last getaway with mates. In Bristol he will be moving in with six other friends, who he has set up a theatre company with called Openbatch Theatre. They do workshops and performance pieces and have recently been offered places at Devon Fringe Festival and the Edinburgh Festival. They're also going to Lithuania to perform later in the year. On the Plinth he will spend his time dressed in a homemade robot costume that he has worn before, but acknowledges that this time he will be centre of attention. As a robot he plans to dance to a collection of songs, which he hopes will be fun.
