Notes

Lauren Parkin is originally from Bradford but studying in Newcastle. On the plinth she will be sending out quotes from a significant book from her collection that she hopes will create an opportunity for the public to read and maybe become confused but then take that experience and try and reflect on what they've read. The quotes will be written by her and sealed in balloons that will have to be burst by the public which reflects the style of her work that she currently engages in her own practice.
