Series consists of papers, correspondence, photographs, and digital material related to the seminar on "The Development of Narrative Practices in Medicine c. 1960 - c. 2000", which was held at the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine at UCL, on 18 June 2013. The seminar was part of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine meetings also known as the Witness Seminars. The transcript of this seminar was published as Volume 52 of the Witness Seminar series, E.M. Jones and E.M. Tansey (editors), The Development of Narrative Practices in Medicine c. 1960 - c. 2000, (London: Wellcome Trust, 2015). The participants for the seminar were; Professor Jeff Aronson; Dr Catherine Belling; Professor Jens Brockmeier; Professor Rita Charon; Dr Andrew Elder; Professor Arthur Frank; Professor Anne Hudson Jones; Professor Brian Hurwitz (Chair); Dr Craig Irvine; Dr John Launer; Professor Jane Macnaughton; Professor Kathryn Montgomery; Professor Maura Spiegel; Professor Tilli Tansey. The editors of the published transcript were E.M. Jones and E.M. Tansey with an introduction by Professor Trisha Greenhalgh.
