Notes

Ashleigh Dumas will be wearing the tabard of a Big Issue vendor and throwing sweets into the crowd. She sees the plinth as a metaphor for the isolated and solitary position that homeless people are assigned in our society. Ashleigh became interested in homelessness whilst studying psychology. She was struck between the number of vendors selling The Big Issue in the small but wealthy city where she attended university. She wants her slot to raise awareness of the Big Issue Foundation and homelessness in general. Her boyfriend was also a plinther.
