Description

Black and white photograph of a section of a cystic parenchymatous goitre, showing the internal structure. All the vesicles of the gland are dilated, most of them are full of a dark brown colloid substance, but some contain white calcareous material. The specimen was once preserved in the Hunterian Museum, Royal College of Surgeons, London, No.2902c.
