Description
The Retreat staff hockey team played other hockey teams from York, representing various firms, schools, parishes and other hospitals. There were also fixtures against teams from places further afield such as Easingwold, Rotherham, Bingley and elsewhere. As with cricket, there was the men’s team and also a ladies’ team and mixed teams.
