About this work

Description

Correspondence of a customer-care nature between various complainants and the Wellcome Foundation, relating to Tabloid products.

The correspondence has no bearing on the work of TRC (although the file has been kept over time amongst other TRC files), with the single exception of a brief copy letter (19 June, 1947) from K Carter, TRC Secretary, to the Director of Research, The Fulmer Research Institute, Stoke Poges, Bucks. The letter reads, in full: "Further to your press announcement in the ABCM weekly, I should be grateful if you woul;d let me know, in as much detail as possible, the facilities provided by your Institute, and whether in the near future you envisage being in a position to carry out research on substances of potential therapeutic value, the investigation of which would require pharmacological, bacteriological and pathological examination."
