About this work

Description

The second in a ten-part series in which Dr Geoff Bunn journeys through 5000 years of our understanding of the brain. In this part, he focuses on Ancient Greek scholarship and its focus on the magical properties of the blood. As part of the programme, a series of actors read out sections of the writings of those who have written about the brain from Ancient Egypt to the present day and an imaginary anatomy lesson features the cerebrum and the cerebellum.
