Notes

Janis Young lives in Cumbria. She works with visually impaired people and produces raised artworks they can see by touch. She is very interested in sensory aspects of art. She is wearing a t-shirt with the Ghurkha campaign displayed on it. On the plinth she wants to document the experience by recording, drawing and taking photographs. Once home she will convert images to raised images and play the recordings back to the visually impaired people she works with.
