Binding: 16th century English? dark brown calf over pasteboards (rebacked); small oval blind stamped centrepiece in centre, with initials "I H" on upper and lower covers, double blind fillets around edges; remains of green silk ties. Price on free endpaper "0.2.6". Inscription on title page "Il fa assai di male chi no[n] fa mente di vene J. Holles". This may be John Holles, first Earl of Clare (ca. 1565-1637).
