About this work

Description

Black and white photograph of the face and neck of a girl, aged 14 years, who had the remains of a branchial fistula on the right side of her neck. The rudiment is described as being a small polypoid growth, which appears to contain cartilage. It is situated over the sterno-mastoid muscle, one and a half inches above the clavicle.
