Description

Woodcut illustration from an edition of 1537 (16th year of Jiajing reign period of Ming dynasty). The small intestine channel of hand taiyang originates at shaoze (Lesser Marsh) and terminates at tinggong (Palace of Hearing. There are 19 acupoints on this channel (i.e. 38 altogether on both sides of the body) all of which are clearly labelled. See 'Lettering' for full list of point names.
