Notes

Melanie Rose lives in Cheriton in Hampshire but born in Northern Ireland. She trained at Central St Martins and is now a professional artist. She also teaches at various colleges and schools. Describes her style as performative using sound dance and movement with life drawing linking the pieces. On the plinth she is lobbying to save two works of art that are up for sale by the Council in Southampton as she believes that if they allow this it will set a precedent for others.
