Description

Two distinct Ionic columns with capitals and architrave are shown standing, while a huge pile of stones dilapidated fom the temple appears behind them. One of the stones is being measured by a visitor, presumably Nicholas Revett. In the foreground, two goatherds bend towards the east to perform prayers while their goats graze around them
