About this work
Description
For too long a career in science has been considered a male preserve dominated by linear thought and complicated technology. But science also calls for creativity and intuition, attributes common to both sexes, and it offers a variety of job prospects. This film highlights seven women in various fields of science; molecular biology, physics, horticulture, genetic engineering, geology and marine biology. They discuss their research and convey the challenge, excitement and satisfaction of their chosen careers
