Description

Tractatus medico-practicus. Illustrated with 5 pen-drawn astrological figures, and two diagrams-one inserted-showing the mechanics of muscular action. The MS. contains lecture notes written down by an unnamed student: the attribution is based on comparison with MS. No. 1645. It is dated 20 October 1710 in the first paragraph of text. Contents: Ff. 1-57. De febribus; 58-66. De astrologia. De chiromantia astrologica; 67-103. De morbis capitis; 104-161. De morbis regionis vitalis; 162-166. Blank; 167-end. De morbis abdominis [etc.]. The 'De morbis abdominis' is followed on fol. 193v by a new section headed: 'Tractatus medico-practicus Parecbases sex Anni 1712, 1713'. There are however, only four 'Parecbases' in this MS. Produced in Naples.
