Leaflet advertising 'vulnerary water', on sale at L.D. Bourgeois & Co., at the ThreeArquebusade Bottles, at the upper end of the Hay-Market, London. The liquid was supposed to cure: indigestion, worms, flatulence, diarrhoea, obstructions of liver and spleen, hernias, vapours, hysteric disorders, bruises, wounds, prevents mortification, sprains, contusions, dislocations, swellings, sciatica, rheumatism, gout, fortify the stomach, heart, head, preserve against infectious air.
