About this work

Description

This rather long documentary is structured in three parts (Part One: Product Development, Part Two: Sales & Marketing, Part Three: The Bottom Line) and 13 chapters. The documentary accuses the pharmaceutical industry and psychiatrists of collusion in their diagnoses of many so-called psychiatric illnesses and the large-scale prescription of psychotropic drugs, which has become a USD$80 billion profit centre. The many participants include clinicians and patients who contribute their testimony to the argument.
