Biographical note
Jane Wyndham-Kaye was Assistant General Secretary of the WPHOA, 1958-1964, and General Secretary, 1964-1984. She was not a health visitor herself, although she had been in the ATS, run a nursery, been active in local politics, and qualified as a barrister, but she had a long and influential career as the public voice of the profession.
