Also included in the file are letters (in English) from Christa Wolf concerning the return of the material and the original correspondence and contract for German language publishing rights with publishers Luchterland June-August 2003.

Deposited in the library at Wellcome Collection by the British Psychological Society in September 2008.

The material was originally taken from Charlotte Wolff's collection in August 2003 and loaned to Christa Wolf for her biography published in 2004. The loan was recorded manually. The material was returned to the British Psychological Society on 24/11/2004.

The material has been retained in the folder returned from Christa Wolf and not returned to the original collection. The folder is well designed, safe and has the intrinsic value of Christa Wolf's correspondence in English. The provenance of the collection has not been compromised by this arrangement since the series level contains file level descriptions arranged alphabetically.
