Description

A painting by one of Rita Simon's patients, given the pseudonym "Jennie" depicting a figure standing underneath a sun with "Stay here" written in a speech bubble.

Reproduced in The Symbolism of Style fig 3.5, p44 and Symbolic Images in Art As Therapy fig.8.3 p133. It is captioned as "Stay here" in the former and "A girl lost in the forest" in the latter.

The title has been taken from wording written on the recto.

The work is undated; the date provided is the period in which Rita Simon was working.

Rita Simon did not classify this artwork with a style.
