Ruth Offord is a trainee journalist from Doncaster. She studied journalism in Sheffield and now works for the Doncaster Post. Hope to be a music journalist one day. She spoke to her editor about going on the plinth and asked readers for suggestions as to what she should do. So, on the plinth she is going to have a birthday party with a cake, party poppers and party games that her friend will orchestrate from the bottom of the plinth
