At the Guildhall in the city of Bristol, on Saturday the 6th of April, 1771, before the Right Worshipful Thomas Deane, Esq; mayor; the worshipful John Dunning, Esq; recorder; and other His Majesty's Justices of Oyer and Terminer, at the general goal delivery for the said city and county: containing the several circumstances relative to the confinement of his aunt, and of her releasement; the robbery committed, and the prisoner's remarkable defence.
