Communication for the month of July, 1901, including daily "sheets re diagnoses" listing individual doctors and their remittances.
In a letter of 17 July, Dowson refers to "re-testing Series 101 DAS returned from Sydney". He concludes that the serum has "deteriorated a little, but not so as to affect its practical utility. This result after a lapse of 14 months again fully justifies your [Burroughs Wellcome & Co] statement that your serum keeps practically unaltered for about a year."
