Description
Animation and x-ray motion pictures illustrate the process that enables the body to release energy from nutrients through breathing and respiration. Viewers follow the breathing phase, when oxygen is brought into the lungs, and are then shown the respiration phase, wherein oxygen is transferred to the blood and made available to living cells.
