Notes

Margaret Tunbridge ('Margie') lives in Liskeard in Cornwall. She has seen a lot of Gormley's work. She is going to represent herself on the plinth; as a psychologist, as a working person for Cornwall Council and Exeter University; she will eat and drink; she has postcards to symbolise her relationships; she has made a field of her friends out of clay as a respectful nod to Gormley. She has some sand and water from a beach in Cornwall, some poetry from Charles Causley (a Cornish poet) to read, paper aeroplanes and the current issue of The Psychologist to read on the plinth. She is a gregarious and sociable person, the people in her life are important to her - she wants to connect with the people she knows. She describes herself as curious, sociable, interested in lots of things, scientific and someone who tries to find creative solutions. She doesn't like being bored so always has lots of things to do. The connection with Gormley is an important part of the project for her. She was involved in a large chorus project in the Royal Albert Hall. Being part of the plinth project has changed her.
