Image of Dhanwantari- 'health bestowing one' opposite title page. Images and notes on 'Tabloid' and 'Soloid' brands medical cases no 92, no 505, no 259, no 230; photographic outfit and photographic exposure record diary. Adverts relate to medals and prizes at International exhibition at Liege, 1905. 2 copies: one annotated [possibly belonged to Haig] and one blank. Copy 1: inserts - application for Medical Diary, 1907, blank; blotting pad and book mark -advert for 'Ernutin' and 'Xaxa'.

2 copies Bound in Morocco leather with wallet to hold letters stamps, cards, etc. Endpapers green base colour with gold printed floral designs. Text block machine made paper, text printed in black, paper pre lined with blue and brown printing ink. The Diary has all three edges gilt. Embossed blind on spine '1907'. There is a red tape bookmark.
