Notes

"aim (artists in mind) grew out of a long term project entitled 'Art and Mind', a partnership between Leeds University and Rampton Secure Hospital. It manifested as a series of creative encounters between staff and students of the University and a group of artist-patients and staff within the hospital regarding the significance of visual language in relation to individuasdefined as mentally ill* [...] *In principal, aim prefers the term 'people experienceing emotiona nd spiritual crisis'. We retain the term 'mentally ill' so that the intentions of aim may be recognised within an orthodox clinical/medical context."--From inside cover.
