Notes

Roxeanne Bennis lives in Stratford upon Avon but originally comes from the mid-west in USA. She wanted to imprint her 'trademark' on her art piece so she asked various friends what is particular to her and has decided to sit on a chair in every possible way other than the norm on the plinth. She is passionate about Shakespeare and used to work backstage at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. She plays the flute and her husband and herself play folk music. She is now working for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust as a tour guide and in their book shop.
