Committee Files

The Committee Files subseries contains materials related to committees Watson served on while at Harvard University, including the Committee on Higher Degrees in Biochemistry, the Committee on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Biochemistry Building Committee. Committee heads included Mathew Meselson and Paul Doty, both of whom are well represented in the files. Like the Correspondence subseries, these files include reports on building new facilities for the Biochemistry Department. The subseries includes some information regarding grants, as well as recommendations for admissions and awarding degrees.
