Tagetes erecta 'Simba'

Tagetes erecta L. Asteraceae 'Simba' Mexican Marigold. Distribution: Mexico. Moerman (1998) reports that the Cherokee used a tea made from it to treat eczema, and extracted a yellow dye from the flowers. Photographed in the Medicinal Garden of the Royal College of Physicians, London.
