Notes

James Mitchell comes from Brixton but originally grew up in Surrey. He completed an English and classical history degree at Exeter University a year ago. In his spare time he became a DJ. On the plinth he is going to be King William IV. Historically King William was the original candidate as a statue in Trafalgar Square but lack of funds deferred this until they decided not to have the statue. While on the plinth he will talk about the general connections of Trafalgar Square. For example it always seems to be a place where people assemble for celebrations, events, etc. He will talk about these events.
