Biographical note

Dr Hunter Gillies worked at Crichton Royal Hospital from 1946 to 1953. Barbara Hickson was a Sister at Crichton Royal Hospital and was Assistant Matron of the First Department in 1946. Dr W. Mayer-Gross was Director of Clinical Research from 1939 to 1954.
