From Tome 2 'Traité des maladies et des opérations réellement chirurgicales de la bouche, et des parties qui y correspondent. Suivi de notes, d'observations and de consultations intéressantes, tant anciennes que modernes ' by Anselme Louis Bernard Bréchillet Jourdain, 1778. This was the first specialist book dedicated to oral surgery in the 18th century, and was translated into English in the mid-19th century.
