About this work

Description

Computer printout data sets for Fourier transforms (a process for translating data into a mathematical representation), diagrams and calculations derived from x-ray diffraction photograph ‘B28’, calculated with and without two additional molecules of water for each layer on the image. (Determining the position of the water in the DNA molecule was an important part of the process of refining the model, as its spacing in the structure accounted for the scattering present in the x-ray diffraction photographs). Original file title ‘B28 Transforms’.
