Notes

Sarah Good, an artist from Liverpool, has travelled from Newark to be part of the project. Having studied art she has been temping for the last year whilst she decides what she wants to do. She sees her hour on the plinth as a new start in life as it has reinvigorated her creative side. Being artistic and creative are qualities that she considers very important to her. On the plinth she will be throwing off origami birds that she has made (from used materials including old magazines) and she hopes this will spring board new projects afterwards. Under the birds' wings she has written individual messages and her contact details. Birds were chosen as they represent freedom, new life and happiness.
