Recueil médical

A collection of notes and extracts on the symptoms and treatment of diseases, written by the same hand throughout. At the end is an index by a later hand [c. 1825]. On page R of the index made by the original compiler, a note on the purchase of a silk handkerchief is dated 15 January 1800. The entries seem to be based mainly on the works of William Buchan [1729-1805] and Joseph Lieutaud [1703-1780].

1 volume 8 ll. + 101 pp. + 39 ff. + pp. 102-287 + 16 ff. + pp. 287-457 + 54 ll. 8vo. 151/2 × 11 cm. Quarter calf binding. The pagination and foliation of the separate sections are irregular: p. 287 is doubled.
