Notes

Keren Bostin comes from Auckland, New Zealand. She moved to the UK (Bimringham) five years ago. Her sister also lives here. She works as a landscape architect and described projects she has worked on in recent years, including gardens for mental health patients and schools. Talked about how it was important to choose the right materials, colours and environments for each group of people. She is also going to run a half marathan in Birmingham on Sunday and loves running. On the plinth she is going with the New Zealand theme throwing out New Zealand sweets, flying the flag, and will be playing New Zealand music. She will also be supporting the Alice Glenister Foundation charity which is raising money for orphanages in Thailand. Alice was an 18 year old died in a kayak accident in Thailand.
