Description
The RCP Working Party on Medical Research on Healthy Volunteers was established to ensure that trials on humans were conducted ethically and safely, following concerns over the case at the Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Institute, where live cancer cells were injected into human subjects.
Papers include written evidence and statements, reports concerning insurance and compensation for volunteers, drug safety evaluation, and recommendations and guidelines for trials on healthy volunteers.
