Collected from our publick records, ancient chartularies of the monasteries of Pasly, Arbroth, Kelso, Dumfermling, Melross, Balmerinoch, Scoon, Dryburgh, Cambuskenneth, Aberdeen and Murray; and from the best historians and private manuscripts.
