Audrey Amiss sketchbook: pencil sketches applied with pressure, with pastel and watercolour (1960s-1970s)

Sketchbook created by Audrey Amiss, containing pencil, pastel and watercolour sketches (colour; monochrome), with a few annotations (usually describing the time of day / season). Sketches are applied with heavy pressure, sometimes causing damage and tears to the paper. Elements of the sketches have been erased using a rubber, which appears to have been a compositional decision. Subjects include plants, trees, and people. The date has been estimated during cataloguing and is based on the contents of the volume.
