Project Summary:This is a project to create and disseminate a short film drama (15–20 minutes) integrating scientific information on how artificial gametes are being developed with a story illustrating how artificial gametes might be used in reproduction. The purpose of the project is to create something of merit both as a stand-alone work and as a catalyst to stimulate debate and discussion about artificial gamete technology. The film will be distributed to participating schools and will be shown in cafés scientifiques in East Anglia and Cumbria.
