Notes

Joy McMillan comes from Leighton on Isle of Wright but originally from Scotland. She went to University to study maths and statistics and then went into banking. She then retrained as a therapist and then decided to dye yarn which is now her full time job. On the plinth she will be turning balls of yarn back into skeins of yarn. She grew up in a religious household with her father being a minister; however religion isn't something that she carries with her today
